What a night here at Edgbaston.

It looked like a comfortable chase for Birmingham Bears - but they've once again slipped up in a quarter-final.

That's the third straight home tie they've lost in the last eight.

But for Gloucestershire, they now have the chance to win the trophy for the first time. They're one of only five counties not to taste T20 glory.

They will also be back at Finals Day in front of a crowd for the first time since 2007. They did get there in 2020 but it was a Covid-enforced empty ground.

So join us for Finals Day on Saturday, 14 September.

But before then, we'll be back on Monday for the next round of County Championship matches. See you then.

Glos beat Bears by 14 runs

Bears captain Alex Davies speaking to Sky Sports:

"I think we potentially misread the pitch a bit and thought it was a bit better than that.

"We obviously didn't get off to the start we wanted but we dragged it back and we were more than happy with that score at halfway.

"If we'd have batted to even half of our capability, we'd have knocked that off."

"The bowlers executed amazingly well and we backed that up in the field.

"Josh Shaw, Matt Taylor, all five bowlers bowled so well."

    19 overs

    Bears 121-7 v Glos 138

Penultimate over bowled by Josh Shaw.

Danny Briggs goes for a paddle sweep first ball and there's an appeal for caught behind.

    Not out and no review.

Then a sharp bumper. Briggs sways away and the umpires are okay on height.

Briggs swings at a full ball and slices it over point. The fielder slips in the deep but saves the boundary. They get two.

Then an attempted paddle again. Misses. Goes down leg but no wide.

Briggs then makes contact but it's just one to deep square.

Chris Benjamin to face the last ball - does he want the strike?

He tries a reverse paddle and gets a cue end to cover for a single!

Matt Taylor with his last over.

And he starts with a superb yorker that just misses off stump.

    Then a single to long-on.

Chris Benjamin totally mistimes a slog to leg but it allows them to charge back for a second.

And back on strike, strike he does! Slog sweeping over deep square! What a time for that.

Taylor replies with another yorker that goes through to the keeper.

Benjamin tries another sweep but gets an inside edge for a dot ball!
